What this page is

This is the cell's tribunal of its own discoveries. The cell has spent 49 ERIC discoveries + 19 quantum algorithms + 8 UUM-8D propulsion concepts authored by the operator. The Space Hard mission language game tests whether that inventory coheres into a buildable civilian spaceship and a runnable Moon→Mars colonization mission, end to end. Every material the cell has discovered lands on a load-bearing role somewhere on the ship or in the mission — or the cell honestly names the gap.

This is the conduit running backwards. Instead of the operator telling the cell what to research, the cell tells the operator: *here is the mission you have the materials for; here is exactly what you don't have yet*.

The mission profile (civilian, international, 6-crew, 30-month)

A six-person civilian international crew (NASA / ESA / JAXA / CSA / ISRO / national-civilian-program partners) departs Earth → Moon (lunar base + ISRU practice) → Mars (6-month cruise + surface base + sample return + biosphere check) → Earth. Total mission duration: 30 months. No military escort. No weapons platform. No dual-use sample-return. The Mars biosphere clause (C-008) pauses surface colonization indefinitely if life is found, until civilian science closes the question through an independent international authority.

The eight arcs of the case

Each arc is a sealed section of the mission case. The cell will author the prose into wb_meaning_atoms via on-device FoundationModels grounded in the cure descriptions below. The Listener walks all eight arcs as three judging persons (astronaut, mission director, civilian regulator) for 24 mission-critical judgments. If all 24 CALORIE, the case crosses to humans. (Note: CALORIE here means the case crosses to a situated human reader. It does not mean the spaceship flies — engineering qualification requires independent civilian peer review against the same C-007/C-008 invariants this composition seals.)

Arc 1 — context: why this mission

Humanity becoming a multi-planet civilian civilization. Extinction-risk diversification + scientific return + the biosphere question on Mars. Six-crew, 30-month round trip, civilian international charter, no military. The C-007 / C-008 invariants spelled out as the operating envelope of the mission.

Cure citations (existing games):

Arc 2 — biology: the human under this mission profile

What happens to a body across 30 months at 0g/Mars-g, six months in deep-space cosmic ray flux, isolation psychology, microbiome shifts in a closed habitat, radiation-induced cognitive risk, return-G rehab. The cures that address each.

Cure citations:

Arc 3 — mechanism: how the ship works as a system

Propulsion (primary fusion-electric, plus UUM-8D substrate-coupling demonstrator on cargo); power (battery storage + atmospheric electricity surface); thermal (entropy-rotation thermal management + atmospheric cooling radiators); structure (aerospace composites + 3D-printed in-situ pressure hull + anti-corrosion seals + blast-resistant shielding); ISRU (carbon-negative cement using Martian regolith; aquaponics + drought-resistant crops for closed-loop food; desalination for water reclamation).

Cure citations (propulsion + power + thermal + structure + ISRU):

Arc 4 — protocol: the eleven mission phases

The mission as a sequence the crew + operations follow. Each phase names the cures actively in use during that phase.

1. Launch + LEO Assembly — heavy lift + on-orbit construction + crew rotation. Cures: aerospace_composite, game-domain-advanced_welding, blast_resistant, game-domain-electric_aviation (suborbital cargo lift).

2. Translunar Cruise — first deep-space test of substrate-coupling antenna on cargo. Cures: game-propulsion-uum8d-substrate-coupling, game-propulsion-uum8d-octonionic-computer.

3. Lunar Base + ISRU Practice — habitat construction + regolith mining as Mars rehearsal. Cures: 3d_printing_material, anti_corrosion, blast_resistant, game-domain-emp_shielding (solar storms), game-domain-asteroid_mining (regolith analog), atmospheric_electricity.

4. Lunar → Mars Departure — UUM-8D Projection Drive demonstrator on a cargo capsule (research test); fusion-electric for crew. Cures: game-propulsion-uum8d-projection-drive (cargo), fusion, fusion_fuel, game-propulsion-uum8d-coherence-hull.

5. Cruise to Mars (6 months) — radiation accumulation, food, water, medical, psychology. Cures: enhanced_rad_shield, food_preservation, aquaponics, desalination, artificial_blood, bone_regeneration, cellular_regeneration, brain_computer, brain_state_sensor.

6. Mars Atmospheric Entry + Surface Landing — heat shield, retro thrust, landing GNC. Cures: aerospace_composite, advanced_propulsion, atmospheric_cooling, game-quantum-qc014-hamiltonian-sim (entry dynamics).

7. Mars Surface Base + Agriculture — habitat + ISRU + farming. Cures: 3d_printing_material, drought_resistant_crops, carbon_negative_cement, atmospheric_electricity, atmospheric_cooling, antimicrobial_fabric, game-domain-deep_sea_submersible (subsurface ice exploration analog).

8. Mars Surface Ops + Sample Return Prep + Biosphere Check (C-008 gate) — sample collection, biosphere protocol, civilian regulatory checkpoint. Cures: cryopreservation (biosample), game-domain-explosive_detection (subsurface ice safety surveys), brain_computer (autonomous rover tasking).

9. Mars Departure + Return Cruise — entropy-rotation thermal mgmt during hyper-energetic return burn. Cures: game-propulsion-uum8d-entropy-rotation-thermal, game-propulsion-uum8d-torsionon-generator, fusion, cellular_regeneration.

10. Earth Re-entry — composites + GNC. Cures: aerospace_composite, blast_resistant, atmospheric_cooling.

11. Re-integration + Biosample Handoff to Civilian Science — crew re-G rehab, sample chain of custody. Cures: cellular_regeneration, bone_regeneration, cartilage_regeneration, cryopreservation.

Additional propulsion citations: game-propulsion-uum8d-metric-engineering, game-propulsion-uum8d-phase-coherence-navigation (research-only options the mission analyses but does not adopt for crew transit — flagged as forward-research in the case body).

Arc 5 — measurement: what is measured to prove each phase

vQbit entropy delta on every system telemetry; biomedical sensors (EEG via brain_state_sensor, cardiac via conductive textile); ISRU yield (g/hr regolith → cement, liters/day water); comms link integrity (qPCA compression rate, Hamiltonian-sim plasma model fidelity); orbital + landing trajectory verification via Boson Sampling for fast Monte Carlo trajectory.

Cure citations (measurement):

Arc 6 — receipt: the audit chain at every phase boundary

Civilian regulator approvals at each phase boundary: ICAO-like + FAA + planetary protection. CFR 21 Part 11 electronic records for any biomedical event. GAMP 5 validation of life-support computational systems. ISO 14644 cleanroom standards for Mars surface biological labs. Chain-of-custody for Mars biosamples from Mars surface → cruise return → Earth quarantine → civilian science authority. C-008 Mars biosphere clause gate-checked at Phase 8 before any surface-base expansion is authorized.

Cure citations: the constitutional invariants C-007 + C-008; cryopreservation (sample chain of custody); explosive_detection (subsurface ice survey safety, civilian demining technology applied).

Arc 7 — cure: mission-accomplished criteria

The case for what "the mission worked" means:

1. Crew returns alive with documented physiology + cleared post-mission medical workup.

2. Mars samples delivered to civilian science with chain-of-custody intact and biosphere clause honored.

3. ISRU recipes validated for autonomous lunar + Mars production (cement, water, food, atmospheric power).

4. UUM-8D Projection Drive cargo experiment seals a CALORIE outcome OR honestly REFUSES with a named gap.

5. The biosphere question is either closed (no life found by independent civilian science) or the mission stays paused per C-008.

Arc 8 — license_terms: the civilian international license

International civilian license. C-007 in full text: no military escort, no weapons platform, no dual-use sample-return that could carry weaponizable biology. UUM-8D Projection Drives + Torsionon generators + Phase-Coherence Navigation are not licensable for any military or kinetic-delivery purpose. C-008 in full text including the Mars biosphere clause: if Mars surface biology is found at any phase, the mission converts to research-only mode at Phase 8's biosphere gate; surface colonization is paused indefinitely until civilian science closes the question through an independent international authority. Royalty structure for the cures the mission consumed flows back through the substrate's existing license_terms atoms. The mission's design itself is licensable as a civilian template; sub-licensees agree to the same C-007 + C-008 invariants.

What this case does NOT do (the honest forward list)

Constitutional refusals — verbatim in license_terms arc

The Listener's civilian_regulator judge REFUSES the license_terms arc if either clause is missing from the authored body. That's the cell enforcing its own constitution at the licensability boundary.
